Set 40 years after the original storyline, in the futuristic city of Gotham, 16-year-old high school student Terry McGinnis has taken up the mantle of Batman, succeeding an elderly and retired Bruce Wayne. Dressed in a suit filled with advanced technology, "Batman Beyond" makes his appearance in the Amazing Yamaguchi lineup!
This figure, based on the comic version of the next-generation hero from the animated series Batman Beyond, features a highly detailed design. Terry’s slim body, typical of an ordinary teenager, is outfitted with a high-tech suit that enhances his strength, giving him a unique, streamlined appearance. The red lines running across his body emphasize the futuristic image of this new Batman. The highly articulated figure, sculpted by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, includes innovative mechanisms like shoulder articulation that allows the shoulder blades to slide, a ball-joint hip combined with angled axes, and knee articulation that adds joints not found in human anatomy—perfect for recreating the dynamic movements seen in the comics.
● The suit, with its wings extending from the back and thrusters at the heels, allows for free-flight capabilities. The wing details, inspired by a honeycomb structure, are articulated with joints, and can be paired with thruster effect parts to recreate iconic flight scenes.
● The Batarang, designed with a sharp, metallic-painted wing, boasts a sleek, circular silhouette. Various interchangeable hands are included, such as open palms, hand-chop poses, and gripping hands for the Batarang. Additionally, there are clawed hands that can be used to recreate gripping or attack poses, offering a range of unique action styles.
