Madoka Kaname from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Rebellion-" is the newest release in FuRyu's "Japanese Doll" figure series from their high-end hobby brand F:NEX! The prototype of her elaborate costume was created by doll artist Ayumi Uyama; Madoka wears a kimono in a Japanese-Western style with the image of a blouse and long skirt instead of a juban, with plenty of lace at her collar and hem. Her obi is made of gorgeous brocade, and the pattern of her furisode emphasizes color and flow, made of fabric dyed in the kata-yuzen method, with the fabric painstakingly dyed one color at a time.
